Hey, folks. I know I’ve been pretty quiet lately, but real life hasn’t been much fun as of late. But I would like to take a moment to point out No-Shave November, a campaign to raise awareness about men’s health, particularly cancer. The rules are simple: throughout the month of November, don’t shave. Raise money. Donate that money to the American Cancer Society. Check out their site, which shows you how to do everything from forming teams, donating, and even how to get some No-Shave merchandise. I’ve got a close family member fighting cancer, so I’m growing out a beard for him.
So come on, Supervillianites – get hairy!
It’s time for another Comic of the Week! This time it’s LaSalle’s Legacy, by Jennifer Smith. It’s a high seas adventure comic with a supernatural twist. The art’s solid. The writing’s good.

Also, on a more serious note, I’m so sorry about your family member. Cancer is a hard battle to fight, but I pray they make it through. 🙂

This reminds me of the time Dr Strange’s accountant was discussing his finances with him and he casually went and retrieved a gold bar from a safe (demonstrating serious strength given how he casually handles that heavy brick) and informing her he had another 20 like it if he needed as payment for his services in helping extradimensional beings in need.
