this makes me wonder what happened to meats little pets
By kingmo Fri Oct 2nd 2015 at 6:30 am
well guessing for the fact we don’t see them in the now era….they either die or…he sends them back
By kingmo Fri Oct 2nd 2015 at 6:30 am
or as one of my theories on why he is so strong even with out powers…they fuse with him
By Otaku Fri Oct 2nd 2015 at 1:58 pm
Wouldn’t that still count as having powers? “Passive” as opposed to “Active”, but “I have enhanced strength because alien dinosaurs were fused with my being.” is the slightly more out there version of “Super Soldier Serum.” 😉

They can’t be completely gone, since Pachydermis is seeing them in the last panel.

Well, story isn’t over yet, is it? 😉

If the plan is to rip off a part and hope it’s a power supply, then it’s one of the few plans that you can try again and again until it works. Go for his arm!

Good news Pachydermus, those are infact dinosaurs.
Well, usually the power source for Mech-suits are either in the back or in the chest area. Hard to tell with Defender-X’s suit, though for all I know, it’s in an entirely different and weird place.

What if it’s on the inside and giving him health problems with it’s output, so he’s trying to eliminate all the villains while he’s still alive…
By RazorD9 Sat Oct 3rd 2015 at 8:17 pm
Huh, well then would go with plan X. Blow a hole through him. Not sure how our, err villains will do that, but should get the power source whether it is in the front, back or between.
Though if Defender X really is trying to take care of the baddies before biting the big one, time would be the baddies ally if X wasn’t so good at wiping them out. Still wondering what he said to Ultimo to get him to leave. Kind of doubt it was “Dude, I’m about to buy the farm and want to take out as many of the bad guys as I can. Oh, and by taking out, I mean killing with my bare hands and sending some back in time.” Though it is clear that all of the science and magic that they put into X is not good for anyone’s health.

Are we sure Defender X isn’t the power source? It is a pretty common trope; super equipment that doesn’t empower the character, but feeds off its own powers and allows it to do more than it could on its own. Alternatively there is the “I need the suit to control my powers… because I’m just too awesome without it.” >_O

so the back isn’t the power source, then it must be the belt? or that little orb in front. Ye gods, a frontal assault is suicide…
By Faux Wolf Fri Oct 2nd 2015 at 6:18 pm
Wait, its the belt. Back to the comic where he sends Hanna back in time, his belt glowed. AIM BELOW THE BELT!

In a slightly perverse way his being mad about losing whatever it was would seem to be a good sign. He wouldn’t be unhappy about losing it if it weren’t something he wanted to have with him in the fight. Perhaps it was the device that he was using to threaten the planet with so that Captain Ultimo would back off? @_@
