You don’t mess with an 800 lb. pre-school supermonster, living god or not. I decided to add more details to the backgrounds this week. I had been scrimping on that lately, but that’s due to outside responsibilities limiting my comic creation time. I’ve gotten through that, and I realized that for such a big battle like this, it needs a bit more atmosphere. When I’ve got time, folks, I can bring the linework.
Now for the final Comic of the Week, completing the introductions to the newest Spiderforest members. Black Mudpuppy is actually part of Collective of Heroes with me, and is an uproarious comedy strip based on Aztec mythology. It’s recently undergone a reboot, but there’s aw treasure-trove of humor in the archives, so go check it out.

A certain green guy said it best: “Puny God.” Have the same feeling of satisfaction from that scene as I do from the last panel. Way to go Joey!

That was what I was thinking too.

I crack up laughing every single time I see that scene. Made even better with Loki in his little crater whimpering and thinking “wow, its been centuries since I last did that in my underwear”.

That was my absolute favorite moment from “Avengers”. It was little odd that notorious atheist Joss also served up my second favorite from devoted monotheist Steve Rogers: “There’s only one God, ma’am, and I don’t think he dresses like that.”

That’s what I get for posting drunk; “He” was supposed to be capitalized.

Ok, so we’ve got Darkseid, Superman and the Hulk. I missing anyone? Not complaining or anything, parody is great if you ask me.

He’s less The Hulk and more Solomon Grundy.

I see scarvok as more of a Thanatos guy but I guess Darkseid works too.

Also lets be honest. Every super world has a (legally distinct) superman

Darkseid or Thanos dunno what he reminds me more of
By Ladon Tue May 17th 2016 at 11:51 am
Darkseid too is the king of a spacefaring empire who thinks he’s a god. I’m leaning toward him.
By dwwolf Wed May 18th 2016 at 9:23 pm
He looks like he has Darkseids headcostume and the face of Thanos.

No one else going to mention the stunning building detailing on that first panel? cause that is beautiful!
