I think we can consider this one a solid win for Anne. ^_^

Go get Meat, he can do it!

I dunno about getting Meat, considering what happened in the last page. He might be stuck like that for awhile.

Ok. I know that fight scenes are really hard to draw. I know that that armor is really hard to draw. I know this is primarily a humor comic. All that being said, I get why you chose not to show that whole fight scene but I’m still really disappointed. What can I say? I like spectacle.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised, ended up flipping back to see if I’d missed a page or something. It just feels a bit abrupt for turbo-charged Claw to suddenly be helpless at her mercy with nothing in between. Shame, I love super fights, would have enjoyed seeing a bit of this one.

I am not so much disappointed as confused. As Ladon said, this isn’t an action comic, but a humor driven one. Claws words feel like a punchline, and I guess they are, but I assumed something about mercy was set up in the previous strip. Or did I forget it from some chapter a while ago? That’s actually quite possible. Oh well, the main thing is, it ain’t bad. Guess Zappit just does such good work regularly that I’m a bit spoiled. 😉

I’m thinking Bad-Claw’s comment about mercy in this strip IS the -setup- part. 🙂

Ok, so maybe now would be a good time for AltClaw to get schooled in understanding that he was trying to kill future-Kaley, not just some random alternate person he doesn’t know.
And may I say between this and locking AltDiane in a closet, I’m glad the bloodshed was kept to a minimum here. This comic has always (mostly) been about family and these alternate universe individuals are a part of it.
I’m still hoping for Field Day and the shenanigans that TWO Crimson Claw (Ret.) can get up to in that context.

You know, with recent events in my life, I suddenly find myself wondering if Alt-Claw is from “The Boys” universe?
