She’s still your daughter, Claw. C’mon. If they’re really out to get you, it isn’t paranoia. If it’s your own loving daughter who was almost killed by an alternate version of you but still spared him and helped him when she didn’t need to, then it’s too much.

Since the hover fortress is a liberated interstellar spacecraft, wouldn’t the observation deck be enclosed by windows made of, I don’t know, transparent aluminum?

Depends. Who knows what species to which the ship originally belonged, and/or the original purpose of what they are referring to as an “observation deck.” 😉
