I’m still working on that new voting incentive piece, but at this point, it’s probably going to be something for the final farewell of the comic. I’ve been slammed with real life stuff, and have been putting in overtime to make sure the comic updates normally. Don’t worry, though – the effort is sustainable. We good.

Wow,, heartfelt! SO even super villains get PTSD. Yeah, that’s gonna take a lot of family counseling.

Not just PTSD, but a heaping scoop of survivor guilt on top!

Lousy villains make grand heroes!

It certainly explains why she had no problem changing her “go by” name to Anna. It wasn’t just to eliminate confusion with her younger self, but to gain distance from the alternate timeline.

This is a very touching scene… but is Claw right about that future now “never happening”? I thought this comic played by multiverse theory. I mean, Claw could be mistaken or just trying to make Anna feel better. Or it could just be the “…whatever the story calls for” approach.

Yes and no. First appearence of Future Kaley/Anna was a test if she could change stuff. Seems she could.
Claw’s multiverse machine is something else.

Which multiverse theory? Bramching timelines? Or simply parallel timelines?
The “Branching Timelines” one means that her future still exists in another universe.
The “Parallel Universes” one means that there is only one future per universe, and Anna’s time-trip erased her future.
(The existence of the “Ultra-Evil Claw and Female Meat” universe seems to argue for the Parallel Universe multiberse.)

Who’s to say that both could be true? That different universes could exist and that one could also erase a series of events from a single universe?

Awww, a very sweet, believably human moment between them. And Claw is very parental here, ready to do anything for his own…

I’ma, I’m just gonna go over here and cry for a bit, okay?

More proof that Claw could have been a hero if the assholery of the heroes hadn’t soured him on the whole concept.
