So I guess Redcoat doesn’t have much in the way of powers after all. 😛
So much for the bowling game? o_O

So… Is it wrong that I ship Lori and Meat?
By Ladon Fri Dec 1st 2017 at 3:48 am
I feel at this point that we may be meant to.

Not at all – they seem to make an effective battle couple.

We have a point of dissent in our household re: Lori’s level of enthusiasm for Meat’s “generous” head start. Is she enthusiastically all for it? Or is there an eye-roll and some long-suffering being voiced. Opposing parties have read the lines with feeling and….it could go either way…….. To be continued….

Based on her facial expression in the last panel I would say there’s some “Yeah, I know how your mind works” disgust being voiced. Which is interesting given how brief their first encounter was. My feeling is that Lori is too much the professional to play with her chosen prey and just wants them dead. A fine example of the female of the species being more deadly then the male. ^_^

Ah, a fine explanation why I (mom) voted for the long-suffering irritation and the son voted for exuberance. 😉

I read Lori as ‘indulgent and concerned’ and Meat as ‘entusiastic and reassuring’ for that line but maybe it’s just me.

I knew Tri-Brain wasn’t exactly likely to come up with a grade-A genius plan, here, but this is just sad. PARTICULARLY when you consider that Claw & co. HAD their backs turned AND didn’t know the anti-Meat brigade was THERE back when they FIRST WALKED INTO the bowling alley. And if their plan was just to shoot them, why involve Scrazzz? If it was so important to actually start bowling before executing the plan , how could he forget to bring along another stooge? Heck, at this point, I’m starting to wonder if Tri-Brain secretly has a brilliant scheme that involves those guns backfiring in some way.
Either way, I’m a little disappointed that it doesn’t look like we’re actually going to get to see a supervillain vs. supervillain bowling match. I was kinda looking forward to that.

*nods*
I think I would have respected this more if bowling had actually been his only plan. Perhaps he will find a way to make it Plan B now that he’s seen Plan A isn’t going to work? o_O

I’m surprised. Surprised that the plan they concocted boils down to “Show yourself to them and then shoot him in the back”. I have to admit, it’s origional… if only due to most villains being smart enough not to attempt such at thing. And I’m including the villains who allow their enemies to transform or otherwise powerup in front of them regardless of how long it takes in that category.

Am I the only one who hoped tribrain was smart enough to only challenge meat to a non-violent game of bowling?
Cause that would be the only safe kind of revenge I could see them taking, one actually tied to rest and relaxation.
They wouldn’t win, but they also wouldn’t be beaten back into the slammer
By Darius Drake Sat Dec 2nd 2017 at 5:45 am
Actually, I was hoping that he’d bowl against Meat, even if only to prepare a trap for after the game.
By 7thsealord Sun Dec 3rd 2017 at 10:45 am
How often does “non-violent” and “Meat” crop up in the same sentence?
By Draco Sat Dec 2nd 2017 at 11:51 pm
I was kind of hoping that their revenge plan consisted of winning at bowling and being obnoxious and annoying about it. Less likely to result in a concussion and broken tibia.
By The Aussie Bloke Mon Dec 4th 2017 at 1:30 am
Considering who they’re playing against, I think “concussion and broken tibia” was a foregone conclusion no matter what kind of plan they went with.
By Draco Mon Dec 4th 2017 at 2:14 am
Fair point.
