“The Fog of War” strikes again! It’s not exactly as though Ultimo’s own situation weren’t a bit on the fluid side and in need of all the concentration he could muster. @_@
But on the plus side, it does look as though Powerthrust bought Captain Ultimo a valuable melee round or two. His sacrifice was not in vain! ^_^

Not convinced Ultimo didn’t set this up to get rid of the old guard villains and raise his own credibility.

I don’t think Ultimo is quite that devious. But if he was, I’m pretty sure he’d let the villains take the damage instead of being the one up front himself.

If Ultimo is that much of a schemer, I don’t think there’s much standing between him and whatever he wants. He’s a hero. He doesn’t make plans like that.
