Just saying, if I were the claw, I would make sure my mask could filter out gas. I mean, with all the enemies he’s got, some of them willing to kill… come on, it’s only practical. Maybe he’ll fix that after this.

In principle you might be right, but knockout gas is a villain weapon. Heroes don’t usually use that stuff.

But if we take a look at the Justice League film where they meet their evil counterparts Batman’s evil counterpart had his suit designed to counter any gas base attacks since Batman tried to gas him to end their fight quickly

And that was after Batman just absolutely nuked superwoman or whatever her name was with knockout gas. Some good guys use the stuff. But I was thinking more of his bad guy enemies. Those guys he imitated when he stole the duplicator (just realized how Calvin and Hobbes that thing is) Tri-Brain and probably a bunch more over the years.

It’s worth remembering that there was at least one Golden Age superhero who made use of gas attacks as well.
