In the past, I’ve given good comics, often by lesser-known creators, a plug in this space to try to send some traffic their way.
This time, I’m going to promote a book and an author. Nick C. Piers is the author of The City of Smoke and Mirrors, who specializes in hard-boiled mystery and crime fiction. Also the protagonist is a mutant armadillo detective, so it’s not your typical approach to the genre. His work is available on Amazon, so why not give it a try? There’s a Kindle edition, too.

Oh, I forgot to mention – I’ve updated the vote incentive to feature my take on the protagonist of The City of Smoke and Mirrors!

This guy is going to go down quicker than the temperature on a spring day in Wisconsin! He doesn’t know who he is dealing with- a time traveling, robot-building, henchman-befriending supergenius and her hired mischief maker. Truly, a great force

Maybe, but all the same you gotta respect a villain (Particularly one who’s just a normal in a super-powered world!), who smiles like that at the prospect of a fight! ^_^
