Did ya miss The Claw? It’s about time we got back to the main cast. We’re in the post-invasion era now, and it’s going to be great!

Claw is right. Not only did he REALLY need a new base of operations but plasma cannons are ALWAYS good. When they’re not pointed at you. But I feel like embezzling weapons from that position he was offered woulda been pretty darn easy. Maybe he should have thought it over more. Or maybe he just wanted to get right back into reminding people that he’s not a hero. Doesn’t seem to have caught on six months later

Well, to quote TV Tropes, “Even Evil Has Standards”. The Claw might be aa armed robber, a murderer and a crime boss but political corruption and embezzlement of the sort a Chicago politician might do is a bit too sleazy even for him or any other self-respecting supervillain! ^_^

Claw has Alien Plasma Cannons. NOT. GOOD.

Actually, the fact that he now has a working FTL ship strikes me as even more significant. >_>

I have to admit, I think this is a good thing. Not because Claw’s ship’s now more dangerous. But because it’s now completely free of Trapmaster’s Traps, at least one of which was never fully deactivated from what I remember. So, yeah, his new ship’s probably a little more kid friendly than his last one simply due to that.

Yeah, because now all they have to worry about are any booby traps or defense systems left behind by a race of super-advanced aliens! Wait…
By Justonalark Mon Sep 12th 2016 at 11:16 pm
Although, now that I think about it… Even considering the advanced tech involved, the literally alien thought processes involved in where to put them and how to activate or deactivate them, and the presumably huge language barrier getting in the way of using the ship’s own computers to find them… dealing with any alien death traps probably STILL isn’t going to be any more dangerous or difficult than dealing with Trapmaster.

Shame the alien ship went boom via temporal explosion. It now does not, did not, and will never exist. Just hope no one rats on him for doing it cause Ultimo started a fight he needed CC to finish.

The only ship to survive the temporal bombs was Scarvok’s ship, since it was too low to use those bombs. That ship will now serve as the setting for all the Claw household scenes. Oh, yes, he’s movin’ on up!

Makes sense to me. I mean what kind of reward comes with a metric ton of problems and responsibilities with it? I mean he’s got kids to look after! And his wife JUST got settled back into the family after such a long stretch being away from their circle. Not to mention you know he’s going to have to oversee and recruit a whole new batch of minions after the aliens ground so many of them into hamburger.
He’s got 99 problems and global crisis response task-forces ain’t one of them.

the reward for a job well done is more cr*p to do
