Okay, I know this one looks a little bit lazy, but I had an extremely difficult week, and I was pretty drained when I sat down to start this one. My mother had a cancer scare, and we had to wait several days before we finally found out that all is well. I also attended a memorial mass that included my grandfather, and that still hurts like hell. At least I tried to use the cut/paste in an appropriate manner, and had it contribute to the joke. That counts for something, right?
Anyway, it wouldn’t be Monday without a new Comic of the Week. This time, I’m featuring The Demon Archives, a brutal, visceral sci-fi webcomic that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world that still has a few functioning countries, though that precarious stability stands closer to the edge than ever. It’s pretty intense, so consider yourself warned.

Hope this upcoming week is better than the last. If I hadn’t read your explanation, I would have accepted it at face value — Claw and the heavy burden of command (and the difficulty of coming up with a plan).
And now I’ll get back to reading “The Demon Archives” archives. That or watch “Batman the Brave and the Bold”.

Thanks for the laugh.
He’s doing a better job than I would in his place.
I’m glad it was just a scare and didn’t turn out to be worse.

Maybe if he distracted himself by playing on his cell phone, he could come up with a brilliant plan… like using a giant slingshot to hurl Ultimo at the alien ships!

Honestly, unless he knows exactly where the aliens will attack, roughly how many they are and has some way to prevent them from just pummeling the planet from orbit, it’s going to be tricky to formulate any sort of effective plan.
Glad that the scare was just a scare.
