Well, nobody guessed my ideal casting for the Crimson Claw and Meat. So here’s the big reveal.
Since the Crimson Claw always has his mask on, he could be played by an older actor that has the attitude down. I always felt Dennis Leary would do a great job with the role.
As for Meat, a lot of people guessed Vin Diesel. He’s a good pick, but Vinnie Jones would be the absolute perfect actor to play that role. If you’ve seen him in Arrow as crime boss Danny Brickwell and in Galavant as Gareth, you’d see how he can be both brutal thug and funny henchman.
Since nobody guessed, that means my storylines continue as planned!

Actually. I’d argue that stupid impulse decisions and dumb luck are the essence of good tactics on those occasions a plan has gone south and you need to survive long enough to be able to make new plans. ^_~

Well, getting things to work that shouldn’t is probably the second most common super power after functioning with unreasonable anatomy. Perhaps he’s just especially good at it.

What is funny and that a lot don’t remember (I’m old enough and British so it’s easier) is that Vinnie Jones was seen as a hard man way before he got into films like lock stock and two smoking barrels while on the football pitch (Soccer to US people) had him “marking” Newcastle United’s Paul Gascoigne….by grabbing his nuts and squeezing them on the pitch (Give the image a google, will make you wince). The funny thing is, Vinnie is also a bit of a softie and did a bit of charity work for the British Heart Foundation. Watch his CPR vid on youtube, its both funny and informative https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LxhK_uHS0EE

Yeah, Vinnie isn’t quite extreme enough to be Meat in real life, but he’s certainly a step in the right direction.

Aye, Vinnie seems like a good candidate for Meat. I feel bad I needed to look him up, he’s one of those “Oh, THAT guy!” actors. Then again, I had to look up Dennis Leary. I don’t think I’ve watched anything of his where he’s had a major role. *shudders* I gave the first Ice Age film a chance and I think it lost me after… well, a few minutes, but I toughed it out for 20. Haven’t gone back since. 😉

Lucky you. My kids were just the right age that I had to watch the Whole.Damn.Thing. Scarred me for life.
Fortunately, they didn’t know enough to be damaged.

For some odd reason I always though of Meat as being more a hidden threat of absurd amounts of violence. I was thinking someone more like J.K. Simmons for him. He has the look, the sense of humor, and he is RIPPED but not in a bulky way.

Man, I loved watching Galavant. We need more shows like that.
Also, if it’s January, wouldn’t it be snowy outside? I thought Britain got cold…

I always imagined Claw being voiced by Nolan North, and Meat by Jason Statham or even Hugh Jackman

Those castings are actually perfect. Cool.
