There, I totally fooled everyone for a very brief period of time. Can I go work for Marvel now?

You are hired. Get started on the next X-men.
By Random Guy Mon Jul 4th 2016 at 3:09 pm
Damn right.

You don’t get to work for Marvel until you have Claw switch sides to a faction whose ideological beliefs conflict with your personal faith.

So THIS Ultimo’s a clone. When did the original go missing? I smell a spinoff storyline here
By Balthanon Mon Jul 4th 2016 at 4:33 am
I’m pretty sure that is Ultimo telling Claw that the one who died is a clone. So presumably the original went missing two months ago. 🙂

…Assuming that this one is correct about who is clone and who is not. I seem to recall a lot of clones believing themselves the originals when they weren’t. For added paranoia there’s also the interesting possibility that *both* of them are clones. (Which then begs the question of what happened to the original. >_>).

Yup. Go work for Marvel. You can write for spider-man

This page made me laugh out loud!
By Underdawg Mon Jul 4th 2016 at 7:56 am
This one is not the clone. The one that died before was.
By Kaian Mon Jul 4th 2016 at 9:54 am
Long story arc. But does this mean the clone started the war?
By Faux Wolf Tue Jul 5th 2016 at 8:29 pm
Does this mean that the next story arch is going to be “The clone wars”?
By Towering Barbarian Wed Jul 6th 2016 at 5:36 am
“started the war sooner” might be a better way to put it since I’m pretty sure Scarvek would have been coming Earth’s way sooner or later. But if the clone was an exact duplicate of Ultimo then it’s possible that he didn’t make any decisions Ultimo himself would not have made. @_@
By Ultimo Wed Jul 6th 2016 at 6:01 am
Off cause it was the clone who started the war! Totally not my fault!
By CyborgJesus Mon Jul 4th 2016 at 2:13 pm
Hmm so arguably Ultimo is responsible for Claw’s daughter from the future having to come back and die. After all if one Ultimo isn’t enough maybe two would be.

so ultimo has to shave…
By Xenitas Sat Aug 26th 2017 at 2:28 pm
the real question is exactly how does he shave?
By Poetically Psychotic Thu Jan 18th 2018 at 10:32 pm
I’m guessing face lasers and a mirror or two.
By Towering Barbarian Wed Jul 6th 2016 at 5:38 am
Zap, if Marvel doesn’t hire you then DC would be foolish not to snap you up for their next round of post-Byrne Superman stories. ^_^
By Towering Barbarian Wed Jul 6th 2016 at 5:48 am
That said, this opens up a *lot* of questions including “Just how many people with cloning abilities are out there that narrowing down who did it would be that hard?” as well as “What was their purpose?”, “Did Captain Clone realize his own clonehood?”, “How exact a clone was he?” and “How did they get the necessary tissue samples?”. I think Ro’Wan is completely right about a whole new storyline being possible from this new twist. @_@

This only qualifies you to work for DC. To work for Marvel, you need to prove previously established facts were wrong and make up new ‘truth’s that enrage the fanbase.
By Aline1 Wed Jul 6th 2016 at 10:37 pm
That does sound about right…
By Tigershark06 Wed Jul 6th 2016 at 7:26 pm
LMAO! GAWD is this true of the Big comics! So so very true!
By Anvir Thu Jul 7th 2016 at 7:59 am
Old school and new school awesome. I loved this series and hope to see more! I think you could spin this into a Mini-series with HBO or Shotime maybe..?! Its got a lot going for it.
