Lose one battle to win another. The only problem I see is that we don’t know if Claw knows what all the demands were.

Given that his biggest concern was in NOT letting them know that they’re easier to replace then lightbulbs he probably had a firm grasp of what they wanted and had no problem with coming across. ^_^

Hot head never was much of a brain. His one-track mind is narrow gauge.

Love the railroad reference! I’ll have to try to remember and use that. 🙂

Well, the fact that it looks as though the demands would all be reasonable ones and that Claw himself knew they had some legitimate grievances probably doesn’t hurt. The trick will be in keeping his word. If he had been able to provide reasonable working conditions he would have already done it and this situation would never have come up in the first place. @_@
Then again, the fact that Mr. Demon apparently broke the terms of his binding without repercussion from the binding should probably be a reason for ominous music. >_>

I don’t think he broke the terms though. He was acting on behalf of Claw’s minions, and he was, by the binding, quite clear to “help”. His only trick was… being technically awful at the job, inefficient to the point of doom. Then he blabbed what he was doing. Which gave Claw all the information needed to circumvent it.
With an end result of doing an incredibly effective job negotiating, and a very quick resolution. So he *did* help.
I don’t know that it’s accurate to call him a demon. I think he’s more like an inept djinn.

“I am part of that power which eternally wills evil and eternally works good.”

Die stets das Böse will und stets das Gute schafft.)
