Yes! You people rock! Top 100! And we’re still climbing! Keep it up. I even put up a new voting incentive image to keep it fresh.
How to celebrate getting to the top 100? Well, I can put the comic up a day early, for starters! We’ve got some continuity rearing it’s head, as Tri-Brain first appeared here. You might see by the end of that encounter just why the lobe-laden villain would try to have Meat taken out.
Thank you again. Enjoy the comic, and have a wonderful, wonderful weekend.

someones in for a massive beat down

First he bribes someone sent to kill him, then he offers her work? I’m not an expert on these kinds of things, but I don’t think it usually works like that. I’ll say this comic is unrealistic if Meat goes out with his assassin.

One of the panels has a character with 3 brains and you’re worried about realism?
Also Meat is a villain. They do whatever they want.
By Tre Thu Mar 26th 2015 at 8:53 am
You mean a comic about super powered people with a comical penchant for over the top reactions could not be considered realistic? Perish the thought! XD
By AceOfSpade Thu Mar 26th 2015 at 10:07 pm
It’s not unrealistic since he works for someone who as litteral unlimited funds. Yes assassin greedy enough to be outbought are a bad thing… if you can outbid whoever tried to turn them against you. Only thing that can beat that is blackmail involving the assassin’s live or life of a loved one or true loyalty.

And that has a nasty tendency to breed resentment for some reason.

When dealing with crooks you get what you get. It’s not like real life criminals were all that great in the ethical development department to begin with either and I doubt the comic book villains will always be that much better.
And don’t forget the quality of crook Meat and Claw normally have to work with in any event. ^_~

I wish it was was easier to tell when someone is sarcastic or joking on the internet without using faces, but I’m glad I forgot the 😛 face in my post because the responses to it were funny. (Although I do stand by that hiring someone who tried to kill you is a bad idea and dating them is an even worse idea. Even with the infinite gold and highest bidder factors, would you hire her for a job where you’ll see her lots after she tried to kill you? :P)

So if the audience of this comic is as nerdy/geeky as me, then the answer to your question about whether, with the infinite gold and highest bidder factors, would I hire her for a job where I’d see her lots after she tried to kill me is… probably. I mean comic books are all about these kinds of friendships/romances that start off like that, some of us do resemble the stereotype so such a relationship would be no more tense than normal, others have had bad enough relationships that this is par for the course and with so much money to go around (though you have to be careful not to flood the market) some of us are just going to buy as many friends as possible!
I dunno what normal people would say, though. 😉

I’m sure Meat considers a good assasination attempt to be suitable foreplay and/or an aced job interview (whichever suits the agenda best).

His team has pretty much infinate money. I think she won’t turn traitor unless she gets money faster and they still have infinate money.

Man, even I was disappointing to learn it was Tri-Brain behind this.
By Weeble-Woblle Fri Mar 27th 2015 at 1:05 am
ya know, for someone with 9 pounds of brain you would think the guy would be capable of better life decisions.
By Tre Fri Mar 27th 2015 at 7:00 pm
Intelligence isn’t how much brain you have. It is how you use it. I’d say Tri-Brain made the mistake of thinking having more than one brain would make up for his original lack of decision making prowess.
By Poetically Psychotic Wed Jan 17th 2018 at 7:34 pm
In reality, he has merely tripled the number of bad decisions he can produce at a time.

Ah, so Meat does bring brace knuckles to a fist fight.

Love it! I saw Monday’s page first, and I was like, ‘Damn, I hope Lori didn’t have to die.’ Glad she didn’t. And I have to say there is a certain satisfaction to seeing Tri-Brain in peril. I cannot quite put my finger on it…

Give it to him he’s worth it Uh huh he’s worth it… Ok I’ll stop.
