He’s pragmatic. An opportunist. No wonder he made it so far as a villain. Nobody needed more reasons to love the Claw but we’re sure as hell getting them anyway.

Just how many of these strippers-turned-henchmen are still alive? With Claw’s attrition rate, I fear they may have been better off staying in the old job.

You know, that’s a really clever strategy. Strip clubs (of either gender) are probably a fantastic place to look for new hench-people.

If by “degrade” he means “have their egos stroked by cheering fans every night while making a well-above-average income”.
Honestly, I don’t think strippers of either gender would make good henches. Their self-respect, job satisfaction, and income expectations are all too high.
Sex workers of all types, legal and unreasonably considered not to be, are usually left off any employment surveys, because doctors and lawyers HATE finding out that an escort is happier and makes more money than they are. 😛
