Whatever it is you’re thinking right now, you’re probably right. Or wrong. Or half-right. I don’t know. I’m not a mind-reader.

NNNOOOOOOO!!!!! Say it isn’t so! Pleaseeeee….. Don’t go soft, Claw, WE BELIEVE IN YOU!

Also we don’t want this comic to end!
…Maybe Claw could start training The Next Generation of Supervillains who could one day reach greater heights of villainy than he ever dreamed of!!! 🙂 And part of said training would be going on Crime Sprees 🙂 :0 🙂

Or perhaps he changes alignment and becomes a hero instead? ^_^
By Towering Barbarian Fri Jan 19th 2018 at 6:15 am
Truthfully, I don’t know how many of his henchmen would notice or care so long as the checks continued to come on time. ^_~

Didn’t we have an entire Arc where Claw made certain he wouldn’t permanently be seen as hero?

That’s the advantage of minions: deniability

Actually, I wonder if Claw will find normal life too weird for him the way Dave Davenport from Narbonic did? o_O

OMG another Narbonic lover. *gerbil high-five*
My guess is that, even if he retires, it’ll be an odd kind of retirement. Maybe finding a way to thwart actually bad supervillain schemes or destroy rotten companies by exposing their rottenness.
Or maybe just start a school… hehehe… oooo maybe a College of Villainy!

I don’t think this is the end of the comic. But if we ARE approaching the end… I really can’t complain. This would be a good way to put it to rest. It makes sense and it feels natural. I mean, if it DOES end, I’ll miss it dearly but… everything seems to be mostly wrapped up. Claw is right. What more is there to do? (Here’s hoping that question gets answered with a plot hook)

Yeah, sure feels like the end of the story. If so, I’ll be sad (I just found this! It can’t be gone already!), but all things must end in time. Or maybe I’m wrong, and this is just the beginning of a new awesome arc.

For instance, perhaps CC is about to realize he can’t live without the thrill of adventure.

At some point I remember someone mentioning that he becomes a superhero in the future, so I’m guessing that’s where this is headed.
By Ryhonn Fri Jan 19th 2018 at 3:24 pm
As far as i remember, wasn‘t CC acting as some kind of villain internal police to keep another DefenderX from happening?

Obviously it’s time to take it to the next level…
CRIMSON CLAW FOR PRESIDENT 2020!!!

Finally caught up…
It’s been a great ride.

I hope the strip isn’t ending. I don’t think it is, at least yet – there’s Chad’s plotline to tie up. On a grander scale, there’s Joey’s maturation and the problem of Anna’s future-timeline theory of the timeline trying to reassert itself; though that latter plot could be considered to be a dead one, as she doesn’t seem to be pursuing that theory any more.
