Why’d Emma-May go so close to an enemy combatant without the means to defend herself? She deserved to get punched in the face for that!

Tunnel vision?

I just assumed he moved quickly. Actioneer’s H2H skill level is surprisingly high.
Surprising because most people think is strongest offensive ability is verbal.

Surprising because most people think his strongest offensive ability is verbal, and forget he kicks pretty serious ass, instead of just talking out of his.

I wish Emma May was a better hand to hand combatant. Then her name would be a great pun. Get it? MMA. Not sure if that was on purpose. Anyway, THIS Claw has it figured out. You gotta be able to fly.

Does Actioneer know that he just punched her or was that pure unconscious reflex? Also did Emma May forget she had a plasma canon?

She lost her focus seeing Claw savagely beating Burdock. Actioneer did not.

Makes sense…

I cant help but love the fact that he slugged a villainess without much of a thought about it. If youre gonna be a badguy be prepared to get punched not every hero is gonna be all golden age and be like “I cant hit a woman”.

I think it’s been proven repeatedly that the Auctioneer is not a gentlemanly type of hero.

This is alamost as good as when Deadpool knocks out Kitty Pryde with a SHORYUKIN.

Hey, he shoots his mouth off all the time without really thinking, why not his fists as well?
His true super power is actually a hyper-developed sixth sense… of comedic timing.

When you have a blaster gun the size of your torso, getting in close is seems like a bad idea in pretty much every case. Like Eliot Spencer says “You see, this is why I don’t like guns. They have a specific range of efficacy. You see, most guys will make one mistake. They get too close.”

These things can be deceiving. One of my favourite supers RPG characters carried an oversized railgun intended for killing tanks. But devastating as that thing was, getting in close was a much worse idea… anyone carrying a 200lb anti-armor weapon clearly isn’t a weakling…

Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it does not work, you can always hit them with it.
By Simon Tue May 8th 2018 at 11:07 am
Can be… though for that character, using the railgun as a club would have been the soft option compared to just punching them…. the gun would have broken long before her fists did…

She just punched a bear!

Not to belittle her comment but, I’m not sure it would take a lot before you reached something his mind could not comprehend.
