No, Mr. Claw, you’ve gotten SMART.

I dunno… is being accidentally smart the same as smart?

The greatest criminals in our modern world have gotten laws passed to make their crimes not technically illegal… and now we see their company names at the top of skyscrapers.

So all that left is the Gift-Basket? That sure makes things easy… provider Paralegal accepts the apology
By RazorD9 Mon Jan 15th 2018 at 8:03 pm
Honestly with enough time would thin the Paralegal could accept his apology. I mean sure the whole drugging him thing was a bit much, but it came from a super villain that was concern for his well being. I am sure the Paralegal had to deal with worse if he deal with super villains. Besides, the guy needs his prescription filled out.

I always wondered about that. He’s a successful high-priced attorney. That’s not usually a profession where even the low end professionals are in danger of living off of food stamps or wondering where their next meal comes from. So why, apart from possibly being a bit on the chintzy side as well, would he be needing that much of a discount on even the most expensive drugs? o_O

If he can make people do what he wants, why does he pay for pills anyways? Just go to a pharmacy and persuade them to over order the pills he needs and then send him the excess and forget to bill him.

Well, can only think of two reasons why he wouldn’t abuse his powers like that. One, perhaps there is a lot of preparations that he needs to do before he can persuade anyone. I mean if an actual lawyer has to study up and prepare his case before going into court, can only imagine if you are going to hypnotized half the court room you still need to know who many, if anyone might be magic proof and so on. Then secondly, if he abuses his powers too much he might be considered a high level threat and be taken down and put into some kind of high level super prison inside of some anti magic pickle jar.Have a semblance of a normal non super powered life is key in keeping the men in tights off of your back.

So Claw was in crime purely for the kicks? o_O
By Wizard Mon Jan 15th 2018 at 2:22 pm
The most successful criminals usually wear business suits, not capes and masks. Claw clearly craves some drama in his life.
By Ro'Wan Mon Jan 15th 2018 at 2:42 pm
In which case all he has to do is go on a family road trip…………..
There’ll be enough drama to last him a LIFETIME..

Those better be some good muffins.

the best crime is the one that isn’t illegal yet

Here, here!

Of course Claw is doing it for the excitment as well as power and fortune! Why else do costumed criminals love to brag, gloat and monologue? You’d never see Professor Moriarty behaving it such a way, but he’s not wearing a gaudy mask and cape is he?

He is prone to bragging, gloating and monologues though.
