Ah, the joys of all-nighters. How I long to return to those days…OK, maybe not! ^_~

I picture it with the most soothing, friendly voice.
Kinda like a mix between Mister Rogers and Bob Ross, but slightly higher pitched.

Yes! If that wasn’t the voice (for the robot) I was hearing in my head before, it is now! XD

“Sit right down here, and I’ll brew you a happy little cup of tea.”

Well, that could have gone A LOT worse.
By Ladon Mon Jan 30th 2017 at 4:36 pm
Ok, I just don’t get what the hell the deal is with this “we have to build another one to fight it in case this one goes bad” thing. First of all, how do you know the next one won’t go bad to? You could be making the problem worse. Secondly, your father is a powerful SUPERVILLAIN. As well as him, you live with a man who can outfight most anything and a five year old JUGGERNAUT. Pretty sure you don’t need another robot to take down one who has average intelligence. Unless you made him unstoppable powerful which seems unlikely given the other precautions. That said, looks like this guy turned out ok. Congrats Kaleys! You’re mothers now. Sister… mothers… this was a lot less complicated when Claw made Joey.

Probably because you misunderstood the previous strip. 😉 It is not about having a second one to fight the first… it is about having a second one so that neither are alone. Think of the typical tropes for various “creating a monster” stories… and think about how it can be with actual kids as well. It isn’t universal; some kids are better off as singletons, but some really need at least one sibling to be happy and healthy. Unless I am the one who totally misunderstood the previous strip. XD

No, I’m pretty sure you’re right and I was wrong. Also, how do you bold your words like that? It would be nice to be able to add emphasis without feeling like I’m digitally yelling.
By Otaku Tue Jan 31st 2017 at 5:04 pm
It actually lists the allowed XHTML above the text box where you enter your posts. 😉 Easy to miss (small, gray lettering on a gray background), but it is there. 🙂 The difference between this and most other boards I use is that instead of say [b] for bold, you would put it between “”. Also, always include the end mark, where the code is between “”. I forget that periodically so it still looks like I am yelling. XD

Wow, it completely removed the code when I used it. Instead of brackets, use “less than” and “greater” than signs.

Nope, I don’t know how to either.

Are you trying to do this?
If so type it in like this (here’s hoping this works right): <b>this</b>

It’s funny watching an html coding lesson in the middle of the commentary for a super-villain comic strip. 🙂
