Updated Diane’s look a bit this week. I wanted to tweak her hair a bit and reduce the number of lines. She lived a hard life before the reconciliation, and that was reflected in her look. Now that things are getting better, her face should show it, too.

Like I said: You canβt help but think that this is what Darth Vader would be like as a dad.

Except Claw doesn’t torture his daughter or cut his sons hand off.

Come on, he didn’t know she was his daughter then and his son was involved in a lightsaber fight with him, what did you expect?

Except vaderdad would also refuse to let his kids play in sandboxes…

Given the kind of stuff I vaguely remember finding in my own sandbox as a child, I am not so sure if refusing to let your kids play in one is in anyway a problem. =P You have to get the ones you can lock up and not only remember to do that, but to watch your own kids to make sure they don’t do anything to it themselves. XD

My parents let me play in the sandbox. So did the kitties,,, but they used it as a litter box. My parents didn’t warn me about that. Bet Vader would have warned me,,,.

I just assumed he was practicing his evil plotting poses.

I think saying “would you buy that?” Guarantees there won’t be a sale. Figuratively speaking.

Reminds me of Maxwell Smart…
“Would you believe… A Midget in a rowboat?”

I recall finding a finger in the sandbox on a military base when I was a kid, yeah…… I’d hate to think what you might find in their sandbox when you put that into perspective and add in what you can find on a military base in Germany…..

It’s not revenge. It’s justice!

Good to see that Diane is able to help keep things sane when needed. ^_^

Yay, I made it before this new story arc! π
Hi there! So I just binge-read your entire comic in one day, and oh my gosh, I love it so much! I followed the link from Soul’s Journey, because the concept of a supervillain who’s also a father as the protagonist sounded intriguing. I’ll admit, I was expecting a lot more serious of a read, but it’s definitely none the worse for that! The best comic strips can do what yours has done: Have silly hijinks every [insert schedule here], while still establishing something of a plotline and lovable characters (Claw, Meat, Count Fang, the Actioneer, everybody) who the audience can feel for. From the moment I read the first punchline about childproofing the death traps, I knew I was going to enjoy this, and I’ve solidly enjoyed it all the way up to now. So good job, and here’s to hopefully many more years! π

Hey I’m all for revenge against bullies. Then again, perhaps reading Worm has colored my sympathies for them… and by color I mean erased.
