That look…. that is the look of someone who is reconsidering his life choices. Or the look of a man who really needs a damn coffee.

You make those sound mutually exclusive.
By Ladon Tue Mar 1st 2016 at 12:24 am
No, no. He’s considering someone ELSE’S life choices. Ultimo’s specifically.
By Steel166 Tue Mar 1st 2016 at 3:56 am
Well anyway you slice it, he needs a damn coffee…or maybe a whiskey sour.

On the plus side, it sounds like this Scarvok character really deserved that punch.

On the down side, you would have to wash your hands/gloves pretty well after touching that thing of a face…

Am I the only one that thinks Scarvok’s ship looks like a giant smilely/clown face?
By Zappit Tue Mar 1st 2016 at 10:44 pm
And here I was afraid people would think it looked like a fish…or an iron…or a shoe…

Looks like Ultimo done fucked up pretty bad with that one.

I dunno, I’m kinda inclined to think that maybe Ultimo did the right thing here. This guy would probably have been coming Earth’s way sooner or later and at least this way he’s not going to be a calm tactical and strategic thinker the way he otherwise might have been. And since we don’t know the circumstances in which Ultimo did it for all we know punching that dude out may have been the tactical move that allowed the superheroes to survive and get away.
Besides, there is nothing in what we have heard or seen of this emperor that doesn’t make me think that Sabreur is completely right and that he probably *deserves* a punch or two on the jaw! ^_^ The only thing I might blame Captain Ultimo for is letting him walk away from being punched instead of just Phantom Zoning him and being done with it (Or marooning him on a desert planet as the Silver Age Justice League was fond of doing to the intersteller tyrants that it had defeated such as Queen Bee!) and even there it might only be because of bad luck rather than bad management that he wasn’t able to do this. ^_^
