New week, new Featured Comic!
Obscurato is a very nice fantasy comic that focuses on a retired hero. Retired warrior Dionisia’s quiet life as a grandmother is interrupted when an old friend is in need of saving. With her past catching up to her she is about to discover just how magic left her world, and have to decide if it is worth bringing back.

For a supervillain, Claw is pretty chill. Whenever one of his guys gets hurt, he always seems to personally go check on them. Even if it’s determine damage control most of the time.

Actually it seems he was just there for the bet

Ah! But he was THERE for the bet. What a caring guy, amiright?

I never said he was caring. Just chill. He didn’t send one of his lackeys to check on the outcome. He personally went down there to make sure. Despite everything he’s seen, he still doesn’t care. He makes it a point to see it himself, every time, then continues to be nonchalant about it. Whereas someone like Luthor would believe it beneath him and someone like Joker would grow increasingly frustrated due to seeing all the failures himself.

When this page loaded, I could only see the first two panels. Not even their entirety; the word balloon confirming that the henchman was on piñata duty. Yet I knew more or less how it would end. The Jolly Rancher specifics still elicited a smile, though. 🙂

Perhaps they will give the agent the power of being energetic, speedy and hyper all the time. We may have an origin story here! ^_~

The sugar could also feed harmful bacteria. Antibiotics are not magic against microbes.

Is there such a thing as a “microb-iotic”? 😉

Joey needs something like a titanium pinata to hit. It might last a few whacks then.

This is practice, training Joey to break open difficult packages.
