It’s background – not a retcon. It’s no secret the Crimson Claw overeacts A LOT. Can you even imagine how much worse it was when he was a teenager?

Dear lord, just imagine his reaction to getting a pimple before his big date. Huh, maybe that helped C.C. get into crime. Already wearing a mask to cover a zit, might as well knock over a bank.

“Crimson Claw overreacts a LOT.” I’m reminded of a certain meeting where he began blowing up all the cars in the parking lot afterward, and didn’t even realize he was doing it…

*smiles* I remember he was snapped to awareness and decided to see it through anyway. Classic Crimson Claw.

In theory I’d make a decent librarian. In practice I’d make a terrible one as I don’t always have the patience to search out what I’m looking for, even for me. Imagine if it were my job. Imagine if i were to consider someone’s tastes in books to be terrible, Librarians aren’t allowed to think like that.
We need librarians.
Anyway here’s thet comic referenced.

“If I’m getting the blame for crimes I didn’t commit anyway, I may as well commit the crimes and get the benefits from them.”
It’s not such an odd thought to have when being unfairly accused and treated like a criminal.
Go on, keep rolling up your window when you see black people; see where that leads to.
