How did the coup go down? Why was Actioneer’s leadership though to be unsafe? Who leads the Action Faction now? Is there something going on with Focus and Germania? So many questions…..
Must. Have. Answers!!!

How did the coup go down? My suspicion is that the coup probably went down with Germania talking to everyone and giving her viewpoint on Actioneer’s leadership so far, asking if they’ll agree with replacing him. After talking about it to everyone, they had a meeting where Germania presented her viewpoint to the group and asked Actioneer to defend his actions. He couldn’t and was thus voted out, with a vote then following on who should lead.
Why was Actioneer’s leadership thought to be unsafe? Well, let’s look at it this way. He formed the group to fight someone making Ultimo’s. His first action after forming it was to pit them against a Mercenary Super whom half of them don’t have any real way to combat as “training”. And the thing he got upset about the Super doing wasn’t the Deaths or Destruction, but a single line about the lifespan of animals. How could you call that safe LEADERSHIP?
Who leads the Action Faction? I honestly don’t know. But, personally, I hope that it’s not actually Focus. Simply because, in my mental picture of Focus, he prefers Search & Rescue or Disaster Aid and might end up pushing the team in that direction more often than it’s comfortable doing so. Personally, I’d put money on Germania being the leader, since she lead the “coup”.
Is there something going on with Focus and Germania? I have no idea. However, I suspect that they’re two of the character’s with the most “free time” to be hero’s. Sure, there’s Blaze, and Alpha/Omega, but Alpha/Omega are two people and thus don’t work for this page, and Blaze is… purposefully objectionable in his methods. Meanwhile, I only really gave a Powers Breakdown for Focus, while Germania seems the type that dedicated everything she could to her fight. Goofather has a family and runs a mafia. Habanero Devil runs a Large Business. Wi-Fu likely has to go to school. Morf might have rejoined, as I don’t think that the team’s going to continue hunting Ultimo’s Cloner, and that’s why he left, but Morf probably has school too.

Good response. Honestly though, I was hoping Zappit would give us the answer

Just think about Actioneer’s personality and his literal trial-by-fire. That team had potential, but it was never going to last under his management anyway.

I have a feeling it was probably a pretty quick Coup. Germania said something like “I can’t beleive we are really gonna follow this(insert German Adjective implying incompetence) and Focus was like We should vote em out or something, At which point the rest raised their hands as Actioneer was walking in with good job brownies and blob was turning in to literally a large mass of raised hands.

I should point out that Habenero Devil’s business is far from large; it’s basically just him and a few friends, the bottling facility they took out a loan together to purchase, and the dozen or so workers they hired to run it. They can’t even afford any large scale advertising, which is what makes the attention that Habanero’s heroing earns their product so vital. In the bio I sent Zappit, I referred to him as a “thousandaire small business owner.”
That said, a large business can probably run itself a lot more effectively than a small business can, so Habanero’s schedule IS pretty busy. And while Focus might drive the team more towards rescue than combat, Habanero would drive them towards intervening only in the most high-profile crimes and emergencies. This, among many other things, would make him a TERRIBLE candidate for leader.

I suppose that’s the best that could have happened. At least no one strangled him!

And yet, I can’t help but think that he planned for this to happen…

Maybe he’s lying and there never was a coup

I’m pretty sure Germania is leading from now on. She was the one to say “don’t let up” against Firebug. While that may have been a quick and redundant bit of encouragement, Darius Drake has already given a plethora of reasons it won’t be the others(yeah, Alpha and Omega are alright at being team players but leaders? Order givers they ain’t) and at least it showed some initiative. She seems like she would rub some people the wrong way but overall looks pretty competent. With that, vast information in all fields (wi-fu), (Goofather’s) nigh undetectable infiltration (question: does he give off body heat the same way humans do?) and raw strength, control over flames (HD), vague yet menacing infernal powers (Blaze) divinely given might (A and O), and multipurpose bubbles (The possibilities of what Focus can do with those are manifold) this is going to be a team to be reckoned with! Hopefully we get to see them annoying Claw a lot. And when Morf returns and reveals himself to be the most powerful super of all time, they’ll be even better!

All living things give off heat. In his True form he gives of at most 1/10th the heat of your average human, unless he starts using the DNA of something with even lower body heat

Personally, I just assumed that Focus and Germania were co-leaders, with Germania taking charge of additional training and field leadership while Focus manages the team and coordinates their missions.

Wifu is still lifu.

WHAT IS LIFI???????????????????????????????
By Gianluca Burdon Fri Sep 2nd 2016 at 11:15 pm
I mean lifu

I suspect that Nerdlord is being punny in alluding to waifu which is Japanese for “wife” while “lifu” (Or “laifu”?) = otakuspeak for “life”. At least that’s the impression I formed while on a Bing search that brought up this article…

Either that, or he’s implying that Wifu is actually a French Commune in the French Loyalty Islands which has it’s own interesting metaphysical implications as indicated here…

Mind you, it’s been a decade since or so since I’ve been to any cons so my knowledge of both otaku culture and fanac has pretty much frozen at that point of time so perhaps it’s best if Nerdlord himself confirms or denies but my own bet would be with the former. ^_~

The first one is correct TB. You get a golden star.
I actually have a cool backstory for Wi-Fu, I’m just too lazy to write it out. 😛 I’ll just let it be known that she is definitely in it for the money. Not to say she doesn’t like the hero aspect, she just likes the money aspect more.

So is she from a poor family or what?
