So this joke might be a bit esoteric, in that you’d have to have lived in the eighties and nineties to get it.
Google Naugahyde. It was used to make furniture.
But really, how many opportunities do you get to make that kind of pun? I’m not passing that up.

Everybody gets one.

Wait, so naugahyde isn’t used anymore? What is it to ungreen friendly to make now?

No, it’s still used. It’s a type of plastic leather – pleather. I guess it’s just not as popular nowadays.

Now that you mention it, I’m guessing “Naga-Hide” wasn’t already in use because the concept of a “naga” is still semi-obscure? Maybe if the Conan the Adventurer cartoon had gotten a few more seasons… and seriously what is up with snake themed villains? So few really pull off the look because the more serpent like your appearance, the more you look like a jerk for having arms and legs (well, “legs” seems to be a bit optional).

I guess that’s part of the reason for Rule 34 of the Evil Overlord’s list. @_@

My favorite rule from that list. Although my favorite as a practical matter is : “Shooting is not too good for my enemies.”

I’m particularly fond of “If I ever have my nemesis cornered and he says ‘Before you kill me, will you at least tell me what this was all about?’ I’ll say ‘No’ and then shoot him. On second thought, actually I’ll shoot him first and then say ‘No'”.
Also “An average five year old will look over all of my plans. Any flaws he spots will be corrected prior to implementation.”

Huh, Asp Master, Naga-Hide; wonder if the other serpent society members have names that might sound like things related to bondage? If so, was Asp Master name was too obvious to join?
